GLASS EXPO AFRICA Complimentary Ticket
The glass and aluminium industries are continuing to experience tremendous growth with more equipment being sold in the last 2 – 3 years than was sold over the previous 10 years. Much of the surge in business is in readiness for the Soccer World Cup in 2010, but business won’t end there. Africa is in a major growth phase and has the world’s eyes looking on, keen to invest in future development and take a share of the high volumes of yet untapped resources.
An exciting new trade show, Glass Expo Africa covers all residential and commercial aspects of the industry, enabling local and international manufacturers and suppliers to focus on expansion into Africa, to further develop business relationships on the continent, and to continue to play an active role in skills development and training in the country. Opportunities for exhibitors to interact in training workshops prior to and during the expo will be organized.
The Expo will be a forum for key industry players to showcase the latest trends, technologies and products and will be a vital networking opportunity for the large number of small glass and aluminium companies eager to develop greater global competitiveness.
The spin-off gained from the many new trends and technologies is improved safety and the energy savings and cost-savings they deliver for residents, commercial developments and Government. For example, the rapid growth in the demand for laminated safety glass, associated with changing legislation, and the role of double-glazing - well known to the cooler climates – and its introduction to Africa, which is imminent. For the Automotive industry, safety and security is a key issue and there have been tremendous advancements in the development of glass products in this area.
These and others will find a platform at Glass Expo Africa 2008, an expo dedicated to the glass and aluminium industries. It’s a must to exhibit, must to visit expo.
